Who we are?

Leo Media Productions S.A. of C.V. is a film-production and content-for-media communications company founded in 2003 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. During the company’s first decade, we have developed projects that have had been presented in Mexico and abroad.

Alfredo Galindo (CEO, producer, and the director)

Alfredo Galindo obtained a scholarship from IMCINE (Mexican Institute of Cinematography) in 2007 to write the script “La Lottery—La Pelicula,” which is currently at the Banco de Guiones (screenplay bank) of the Institute. Currently, Galindo is working on the development of short and full-length film scripts to be filmed both in Mexico and the United States.

Galindo has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at several universities in Mexico, such as the Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Interamericana del Desarrollo (UNID). Some of the courses he has taught include Film History, Great Directors, and Film Criticism.

Alfredo Galindo authored the book Coahuila y Sus Protagonistas en el Cine (Consejo Editorial del Estado de Coahuila, 2nd ed., November, 2006) and also collaborated on the book Pina Pellicer: Luz de Tristeza (1934–1964) with Ana Pellicer and Reynol Perez Vazquez (Conaculta/CinetecaNacional/Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, October, 2006). Galindo also wrote the prologue for Carmen: Una Mujer Alta by Jesus Ibarra (edited by Conaculta and Escenología, A.C., September, 2010).
